Elite NFT (discontinued)

Founder Archived Nov 2021 – Sep 2023

NFT design agency. Peak ₹15 lakh a month with a team of 15–17.

Elite NFT was an NFT design agency. We designed NFTs for multiple projects across the crypto ecosystem.

Technically this was my second venture. The first was in the content space and didn’t go anywhere, so it isn’t listed here. This was my first successful one.

How it started

After the first venture failed, I realised I had to actually make money. I started trading crypto, and through crypto I discovered NFTs.

I was already an artist and designer, so I thought: I can do this.

Slowly I built a reputation as an NFT artist. People started to know my work, and then they started buying it. I sold India’s first meme NFT for over ₹4 lakh.

Along the way, I got more and more freelance enquiries from projects that wanted me as their artist. That demand became Elite NFT.

At its peak

  • 15 to 17 people working together
  • Around ₹15 lakh in monthly revenue at the peak

We also created content to help people understand what was happening in crypto and NFTs. web3stash came out of that.

How it ended

In 2023 the crypto market went down, and it was bad. There was no work coming in. I was bearing losses and trying to keep it going, but it wasn’t working.

I could see the decline coming. So while Elite NFT was still doing some business, I started building a new product on the side: liqy.

By September 2023, I shut Elite NFT down.

What came next

I’ve always believed there is an independence ladder:

  1. You start freelancing.
  2. You build an agency.
  3. You build a product.

I had done the first two. I wanted to make products, and that’s what I did.

With the profits I had made, I moved fully into building products. liqy was the first of those.
