This is the first time in my life that I actually have an office to go to.

Which is crazy when I think about it.

I've been building businesses for years, but almost all of it happened from my bedroom.

Wake up. Open laptop. Work. Eat. Work. Sleep.

There was never an "I'm leaving for office" or "I'm coming back from work."

So walking out of my house every morning with my laptop bag and actually saying, "I'm going to office," feels weirdly exciting.

It feels like a completely new phase of my life.

And my first week was pretty fucking fun.

The train was a mistake

On day one, I decided to take the train.

Big mistake.

Bro, travelling by train genuinely feels like everyone is moving in one giant herd.

You get down, everyone starts walking, and you just start walking with them.

I felt like a sheep.

It instantly gave me this weird rat-race feeling, and I hated it.

To make things worse, I took the wrong train from Andheri.

I was supposed to go towards Prabhadevi/Lower Parel, but somehow took a Panvel train and reached Wadala.

Then I had to go back to Mahim and figure out my way from there.

That one trip was enough for me.

Trains are probably not for me.

Since then, I've been taking my bike.

Although I still don't understand why bikes aren't allowed to park inside Lodha Signet.

Bro, I am literally a partner in the company.

Why can I not park my own bike in my own office building? 😭

Anyway, I stopped fighting with them and started using the pay-and-park nearby.

Paying money just to park my own bike still feels wrong for some reason, but okay.

I fucking love the office

I can just sit there and work.

There's no bed next to me where I can randomly lie down.

There aren't too many distractions.

You come to the office to work, so you just... work.

And apparently that's exactly what I needed.

I've somehow become the guy who reaches one hour early and leaves four hours late.

The funniest part?

Nobody is forcing me.

I genuinely want to stay there.

I love working, and being around other people who are also building things gives you a completely different energy.

Also, there is free Diet Coke.

FREE DIET COKE.

Bro, what more do I need?

The people changed everything

The team has been great too.

I've already made some really good friends, especially Saish and Shubham, who are also leading teams there.

There's this whole camaraderie in the office that I've never really experienced before.

For years, work for me was basically me, my laptop and maybe a few people on calls.

Now I'm sitting around people building different things, discussing ideas, cracking jokes, solving problems and figuring shit out together.

It's fun.

Something even crazier happened in the first week.

I saw that the company was hiring for a role and told them that Manali was looking to switch careers.

Bhagyashree interviewed her, loved her, and now she's probably joining too.

So basically, my girlfriend and I might literally be going to the office together every day.

Kind of a dream scenario, not going to lie 😭

I was worried I'd become an employee

Before the acquisition, one thing genuinely worried me:

Will I suddenly become an employee?

I've been running my own thing for years.

I didn't know how it would feel to suddenly enter someone else's office after getting acquired.

But that hasn't happened at all.

I'm treated like an equal.

I'm treated like a leader.

I'm trusted to take decisions, build things, close deals and just do shit.

And I think that's one of the biggest reasons I've been enjoying this so much.

I don't feel like I've lost what I had.

It feels like I suddenly have more resources, more people and a much bigger playground to build on.

Things moved fast

Within the first week, I had already closed Schbang, one of the biggest agencies in India.

In roughly the first 10 days, we did around ₹10–12 lakh in revenue.

Bro.

What is happening? 😭

On top of all this, I've finally started being consistent with content too.

I'm hoping to cross 10K followers soon.

Hopefully before the end of the year.

Let's see.

A completely new life

The last few years of my life have mostly been me sitting inside a room trying to make things work.

Some things worked.

A lot of things didn't.

There were days when literally nobody knew what I was building.

And now I wake up, ride my bike to an actual office, walk into a room full of people and build things with them.

It sounds like a very normal thing.

But for me, it really isn't.

The only problems right now are that the office is pretty far from home and I'm spending way too much money on lunch and random food every day.

I might move back in with my parents to make life easier.

I don't know yet.

We'll figure it out.

But yeah.

That's been my first week.

A completely new life for me.

And so far, I fucking love it.
